The May 20 Fundraiser is approaching. If you like beads here is your chance to win all kinds of beads that I have accumulated over the years. These are not reject beads. Included are beads I bought in travels to New Mexico, Florida and during a buying frenzy at Shipwreck Beads in Oregon. There are beads from Venice, Czech glass, beads from India and other places. There are focal beads, spacers, and a few gemstones. There are a few lamp worked beads (none of mine) but most are pressed glass.
There are matte beads, shiny beads. foiled beads, beads with an AB finish, top drilled. side drilled and center drilled. There are leaves hearts, tablets, tubes, dangles, daggers, drops and druks.
Will they be auctioned off in lots? In surprise packages? By color? You will have to come to the fundraiser to find out. If you want to see more items that will be up for grabs at the fundraiser, press here, here and here.

New artists contributions are from our own Emily Squires Levine and recent guest artist Doreen Kassel. Vendor donations include water transfer sheets, business card covers and claying DVDs from the Lisa Pavelko Signature Series (lisapavelko.com). Also the Guild received from Clearsnap 8 bottles of Smooch valued at $36. Colors include Olive Twist, Ocean Soul, Tuxedo, Carrot, Sassy Pink, Sundance, Plum, Twist, and Kiwi.
As donations begin to stockpile at Denise Pettit’s home for the Guild’s Annual Showcase Fundraiser, Denise worries that her neighbors will nominate her for “Hoarders” the reality show on TLC. Here are some of the new contributions from vendors, members and artists.

Alright folks, start saving your change and dollars. PAPCG’s annual Showcase Fundraiser is just around the corner and donations are rolling in. Gladys Higgins donated her intricately beaded triangular pink and white pendant. Karen Rhodes from Clay Alley contributed the book, Polymer Clay 101: Master Basic Skills and Techniques Easily through Step-by-Step Instruction, by Kim Otterbein and Angela Mabray (Jan. 1, 2011). The book is spiral bound and includes a 45-minute instructional DVD. In addition, Jacquard Products generously donated 50 jars of Pearl Ex Powders in 10 different colors, along with reference and color guides.
Pull out your smart phone or the kitchen calendar and set aside the date right now: May 20, 10 to 4. Do it! Do it now!!! We will keep you updated as more donations reach the Guild.
